Description

Made from hand-stripped banana fiber, dried and layered around a frame rather than pressed or moulded, giving the surface a soft, paper-like texture and a warm, diffused glow closer to candlelight than a standard bulb.

Every piece is custom made to order — nothing sits pre-built on a shelf. It typically takes 1–2 weeks to craft your piece by hand, plus a few additional days for delivery once it ships. We ship pan-India, and you'll get tracking details as soon as your order is on its way.

Bambart is a handcrafted lighting studio working in bamboo, banana fiber, and cane, based in Mukkam, Calicut. Every piece is shaped by hand, one at a time, rather than mass-produced — which means small natural variation from piece to piece is part of the material, not a flaw. Beyond individual lights, Bambart Studio also designs full spaces — cafés, homes, and commercial interiors — where light and craft come together.
